EGO: Eighties Geek Out is a nostalgia-fueled trip back into the 1980s. Every month hosts Brad Anderson and Ian Clark will look back fondly on their favorite toys, movies, video games, comic books, music, games and TV shows from the 1980s.
Brad Anderson – Having clawed his way of out of an early 70’s ovarian Bastille into a cultural landscape filled with Mego dolls, Micronauts, Matchbox cars, James Bond & Bruce Lee video discs, baseball cards and a healthy fear of Steve Austin’s nemesis, Bionic Bigfoot, it was evident early on that Brad was going to embrace and absorb the entirety of the forthcoming decade, “The 80s.” like no other. Gone were days of K-tels Greatest Hits. Enter The Police, Depeche Mode and Culture Club. Brad currently resides in San Diego, CA, is a music aficionado, avid cyclist, de facto crew member of Starblazers and an on-call agent of S.P.E.C.T.R.E.
Ian Clark – Born in the early 70s, Ian Clark grew up right in that sweet spot for 80s pop culture. Ian is a fan of Star Wars, GI Joe, Conan the Barbarian, Voltron, Dungeons & Dragons, Men at Work, Ronnie James Dio, Quantum Leap, John Carpenter movies and on and on. Ian lives in New Hampshire with his wife and two sons. He works as a freelance writer and standup comedian.
